Before you start
Have these handy.
- Your business name and a working email address
- Your business registration number (optional, but it earns a verified badge)
- Your area / address and how far you'll travel (coverage radius)
- Prices for what you offer — you decide these
- A cover photo and a few work samples (phone photos are fine)
The steps
Five steps to your first booking.
- ~3 min
Register & verify
Open Add Your Business, create your account, and verify your email (check spam if it's not in your inbox). Add your business registration number for the verified badge.
- ~2 min
Set your location & radius
Type your address or tap Use current location, then set how far you'll travel. This decides which clients can find you in “near me” searches.
- ~5 min
Add your first service
Pick a category and add the sub-categories you cover (tap to add; choose Other to type your own). Name the service, set your price, and upload photos.
- ~3 min
Set how it's booked
Choose by the day or by time slot, add a duration and cool-down if relevant, and set your capacity — or tick “Doesn't matter” if you never run out. Skip any technical detail you don't know; it's all optional.
- ~2 min
Set availability & go live
Close any days you don't work (e.g. Sundays), then save. You're live — clients can now find you, request a booking, and pay by card.
That's it. Bookings arrive in your dashboard. Approve one, request payment, get paid — and each completed job builds your reviews.
Tips to get booked faster
Small things that win jobs.
- Use clear, well-lit photos of real work — the cover image is the first thing clients see.
- Write a short, honest description and add search tags (e.g. “wedding, corporate, VIP”).
- Keep your availability up to date so you only get requests you can fulfil.
- Reply to requests quickly — fast approvals convert into more paid bookings.
- Ask happy clients to rate you; reviews move you up in search.
Good to know: Serv YU is free to use — no listing fees, no subscriptions. We take a flat 10% only when you complete a paid booking, and you always set your own prices. And no, you can't book your own service. 🙂
